Power Outage at 495 and Stewart

Shortly before 2 PM a Wal-Mart truck going South onto 495 through an alley West of Stewart Rd. got tangled on a low power line. The result was that as the truck pulled forward, it pulled the power line off the poles. Power was cut to the area around that intersection while AEP workers restored the power line. The area was blocked off and the fire department was present. In addition, a Mission Police officer was dispatched to direct traffic at the intersection during the power outage.
